The SOVI is only going to be out of service on Wednesday according to the service notice. So this means on Wednesday we have NO Spirit ships on route 1. The Queen of Saanich and Esquimalt!

Why the hell didn't they use the Vancouver for the British Columbia's replacement? That one gets me...especially because I hear sailing waits on Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay in the morning on the radio.

The Vancouver is in refit right now until the 7th. She will be replacing the SOBC after the 7th for the remainder of the SOBC refit, cause the Esquimalt will be going to Duke Point to replace the Alberni as the Alberni is going to Langdale to replace the Surrey. But I dont know either why they just dident use the Vancouver for the whole time.

The Vancouver is going to be taking over from the Esquimalt in the next week or 2. They probably could have used the Saanich instead of the Esquimalt when the SOBC went in for refit last month.

THe saanich is at deas along with the north and the sobc.

Are you sure about that? I saw Vancouver sitting down at the drydock in North Van. a week or two ago, so it might be Vancouver at Deas. And besides, wasn't Saanich doing the extra sailings yesterday on SWB-TSA?

The Saanich is at Swartz Bay. I know cause I seen her today. It is probably the Vancouver who is at Deas as she is in refit at the moment.

I saw the SOVI today at Swartz Bay and there was a helicopter hovering around and they were lifting some of the life preservers and doing some things with those. Earlier current conditions said there was 1 sailing wait to Tsawwassen. I even saw Swartz Bay to the Gulf Islands there was a 1 sailing wait which I have never seen that before for the gulf islands.
