I was just looking on the Current Conditions Actual Departures Page on the BCF Website, and the Queen of Esquimalt is still running. The Queen of Vancouver was supposed to take over today, right? Does anyone know why this is?

Well either the Queen of Vancouver is running today and they are just screwed up again as usual. But I think it probably still is the Esquimalt running as they dont need her till the 14th up on the Duke Point run cause that is when the Queen of Surrey goes in for refit so the Alberni will be moving probably on the night of the 13th. But I just looked at the service notices, dident see this one until now, and it's says the Alberni is out of service on Friday for reglatory inspection and certifcation. So the Esquimalt should be on the Duke Point run on Friday, so maybe by Friday the Queen of Vancouver will be running. So that means the Alberni goes out of service on Friday, comes back for Saturday and Sunday then goes to Langdale on Monday.

Well I just looked at the RBI and the Queen of Vancouver takes over on Wednesday the 9th on route 1. The Esquimalt will be on the Duke Point run on Friday, then probably go to Departure Bay for two days then back to Duke Point on the 14th when the Alberni goes to the Langdale run.

I can't wait to see Alberni doing the Langdale run. I haven't seen her for a year.

This is probably cause of only having one Spirit in service and alot of traffic but there is currently a 2 sailing wait for the 3pm sailing to Tsawwassen. I was out in Sidney earlier today and the highway sign said then there was a 1 sailing wait for the 11am. There is also a 1 sailing wait from Tsawwassen for the 3pm. Dont really remember seeing 2 sailing waits in February. But I guess with the SOBC out of service this can happen.
