I am thinking of taking a day trip on my bike one day where I'm off of work, but I can't decide which ferry to take. Should I go to Nanaimo for a day, Gibsons, or Bowen Island (It has to be a HB run because I do not want to ride all the way to Tsawwassen from NV).
Secondly, (for those of us who are in public school), what are your plans for Spring Break?

Strong Skier, I'd suggest taking Route 2 too Naiamo, then taking thhen ride to Duke Point. It's a very scenic ride and there is cheap resraunts to stop at. Then get on too the MId Island express and you can use the buss to get your bus home (602, 601, SeaBus are all bike friendly) I have done that before, except I bussed to Horshoe Bay as well.

Hmm second to last spring break. We get 2 weeks off this year instead of 1 ;D  . I might try and go over to the Island via HSB-DPB but I haven't really tried to make plans yet. |

Yeah I am out of school so spring break is nothing to me but I can always take days off or when I get days off I sometimes take a ferry trip. I want to go to North Van and see the Oaky and SOBC in the next few days. I was thinking of going back up to Naniamo and going across on the Cowichan, going into North Van which is the easiest, then coming back out to Delta and then back to Swartz Bay. I dont know whether to do that or go over to Tsawwassen from Swartz Bay and maybe take the Duke Point ferry back and drive down. I get bored with the same routes all the time so I like to mix it up. Maybe take a 2hr and 20 min Queen of Esquimalt sailing to Duke Point. I'll figure it out.

Whats your school called? I'm guessing you're in Nanaimo... Barsby? NDSS? Woodlands? Dover?

we get 2 weeks in North Van. Easter is included in our break this year, because Easter is in March.

Same here...Wait almost two weeks
School District 47 (Powell R.) gets a week off and because of easter we go back Wednesday. we take Tuesday off because we have Good Friday the following Friday...I think
