Its sure going to be different travelling on a nice looking ship to Langdale.
I think moving the Coq to Langdale is great because that route doesn't usually get amentities that are normally found on the Vancouver-Vancouver Island routes. It will be a nice change for regular customers on route 3.

Weeeeeee! I can finally go on a mid-life upgraded ship more often I havn't been on the Coq for ages the last time I was on her was a loooong time ago all I remember is the children play area and the elevator so it was probably close to 5-6 years ago but for some reason I think there was a upper passenger deck where the play area was plus there wasn't alot of people there it's obviously not true but imagine if it was and im sure it wasn't a V-Class because it was the Langdale run 5-6 years ago there wasn't any V-Class on there than. or was there. By the way anyone think that when the Surr is finished mid-life she will go back to Langdale

I think they started using the Surrey in 1997, on the Langdale route, but I remember going on the coq, many times to Langdale before that, back when I was in Cubs, going to Camp Byng. Speaking of which, I think my next trip to Byng is April 15-17, and it will likely be my last trip on the Surrey on that route. My next trip to Langdale will likely be to Byng, on the coq, for a giant Venturer/Rover camp called Mardi Gras, (Which I am part of the group that organizes it and staffs it) at the end of September.
Kid, I liked how you started off your statement with "weeeeeee!" that was i-mazing!

No Surrey will be done with the Langdale route this June, because after her refit she's going to be the #1 out of Departure Bay, and twin sister Oak Bay will be the #1 out of Horseshoe Bay. They are going to have those sisters the #1 on that route now because they can hold more passengers and they have 3 elevators. Cowichan will then be the #2 out of Departure Bay, but will replace the Alberni when she goes into refit in 2006-7. And Coquitlam will still be on the Langdale route.
