Awesome pictures, Graham! You must have edited those pictures a bit, because the floor doesn't look scuffed up at all! Everything looks so nice and fresh, and I would probably have mistaken it for the Surrey if you didn't say it was Oak Bay!

How did you get those pics with what looks like nobody on the ferry Last sailing from Departure Bay. The key is to take your pictures between docking announcements and debarking... and being a foot passenger helps.

Yup I see him, it is ironic how there are many occasions that when on the ferries we are at the same place at the same time.

Gotta love life's little surprises, in this case both the oportunity to see the life boat being lowered, and later being reminded just how small our world can really be (enjoy while it lasts . Indeed, that is me to the right of the life boat that's being lowered; I'm on the upper deck: Thanks for those, Touy. ...And now for my contribution: www.ferrypicsbygraham.fotopic.net/c915962.htmlCheers.

New Seaspan Carrier Princess and similar, former Incan Superior, now Princess Superior pics. Note: The Princess Superior which plied the waters of Lake Superior for the CP subsidiary "Incan Marine" until brought west in 1993, originally did not have bow doors / loading capabilities.

Curtis! Good man! You have literally thousands of photos that need long awaited attention, and now they've got it.
This will give you an oppertunity to edit out the photos you want and don't want, and also add new ones without suffering the long hours it takes to post them on Yahoo. I'm surprised you didn't go with Webshots first!

Nice job Curtis! Even though I've seen pretty much all of your pictures from your yahoo site, and then now some of them are making their way over to your new fotopic, it was like seeing completely new photos. I also like the colours of the writing and the background, looks nice.

Alright I've got a question. Where do all those dozens and hundreads and hundreads of chairs (like the ones pictured) go? Between all the C's refits and the Nanaimo's, do they just end up at the dump? cause i'd sure like to get one, or a set of three as they often come in!

Well, just days before a C-Class goes in for Mid-life, it stops by Departure Bay for a few days. This is where crews will remove pretty much everything. Seats, brochures, food, it all gets removed. Some of the seats then get stored under the upper car deck ramp at Departure Bay, and BC Ferries will slowly try to donate them all away. Where they all go exactly, I'm unaware of. But it sure would be neat to get a seat or two! Here's the Queen of Surreys seating, sitting under the upper car deck ramp at Departure Bay.
