Loved the shots Scott. Alberni and Chilliwack are the only two major ferries I haven't been on yet. Will have to make a point of it next trip.
Thanks Graham for the big upload.

Hahaha, I love those pics you got of me in the funnel and in the crows nest. I've just arrived home, after taking the 9:00pm Oak Bay to Horseshoe Bay. I narrowly missed the midnight highway closure tonight by about 3 minutes. I'll post my pics tomorrow. Now I need to go to bed.

Great Shots, Chris. The Esquimalt sure doesn't look great from overhead, Looks quite rusty.

how did you guys get permission to go on the esquimalt? Because my parents both work at Departure Bay, I have been touring the ships tied-up there since I was young... Having toured the ships for so long as well as knowing most of the employees there - I am able to with permission from the Terminal Supervisor, and by being accompanied with by one of my parents (and sometimes can bring one or two friends along)...

Nice work, Touy. I like the E-Class, especially the look of the bridge. Can you tell us about the various inspirations for these 2 designs of yours? Thanks.

Excellent Job, Touy. I like that idea of putting cars on top of the passenger lounge on the UX2 Class Ferry. But in reality would it be possible? I really like how you lego-ized berth 1 at Swartz Bay.

I went for a bright and early 0500ish photoshoot today, aiming for the best lighting conditions, from the bluffs to the beach, border and terminal of Tsawwassen to catch the last day of the Queen of Alberni sitting at Berth 1. The day brought sights of all kinds of marine traffic including an Alaska Marine Highway ferry on its way to Bellingham, Seaspan's Carrier Princess, the first departures for the day of the Queen of New Westminster and Spirit of British Columbia from Tsawwassen as well as the first arrival from Duke Point Terminal of the Queen of Coquitlam all with the ' Alberni front and centre as the star attraction. My front row seats eventually brought me as far as the terminal, but for now here's part 1, 25 pics... www.ferrypicsbygraham.fotopic.net/c950796_21.html
