Post photos of boarding passes and baggage tags here. ;D Here's a small assortment to start this off: I have a few baggage tags that I'll post in the coming days...

Question for those of you BCF buffs out there, on your boarding passes they say such things as Halibut, Chinook, Whale, etc. What is this for? Thanks for any replies.

It's to prevent people from trying to re-use old passes and scam the system. - by having multiple types of passes, a person never knows which will be for that given sailing. And for the ticket collector at the gate, he/she just looks for the name to see that it's "Halibut" or "Sasquatch" for that sailing. Not 100% scam-proof, but it does cut down on the fraud attempts.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like a pretty good system.
When I first saw the pictures, I thought that maybe it was a direction of where to meet to board the correct vessel. I use to work in the tourism industry for several years and this was a system we used to guide our guests to the proper embarkation areas, except of course we used words like, Denali, Yukon, Klondike, etc.
