That sounds good! I think for winners for banner should appear randomly not in that order! It is random.

Sounds like this is going to be well executed and very structured - the urban planner in me is very appreciative of this. Because this is a unique situation with lots of votes to go around, I'm going to reccomend that voting take place for 1.5 days, instead of just 24 hours, in order to allow the extra time for everyone to get all their votes in. Accountants and Urban Planners usually get along; same type of soft-skill set required. I like the extended voting hours idea. Something like early evening on the 30th until mid-morning on the 1st.

This is all new for me so I'm gonna throw in a pair just to start. Chris: You need to include a direct-link to a 1200x340 picture for each. - this needs to be done before deadline on Tuesday evening.

2 hours of work in setting up the ballots. - I think that's a new record..... Mr. Horn (er Mike, I mean), you have had your work cut out for you of late what with being very busy moderating flare-ups, posting videos from many of your travels over recent years, and overseeing this tribute to Philip Spaulding. You have done well and I appreciate this & all the other stuff you do around here. Sometimes I wonder if you find it all to be a little too much. Thanks again. P.S. Any word on when the Spaulding magazine article will be published?

Any word on when the Spaulding magazine article will be published? Thanks ! It's a good thing that I like hobby-projects with fine detail. ;D I expect to see a Spaulding article in the November issue of Western Mariner. The magazine usually arrives in my mail-box during the first week of the month. - I just now checked their website, and October is still shown as their "current issue". They probably change their website cover-issue image at the start of the month; and that's when you can see the table of contents on-line (but you need to buy the paper-copy to see the articles).

Re the current month Spaulding tribute, am I the only one who is seeing only one photo (Q New West in Horseshoe Bay) being displayed? The rotation of images seems to have stopped when we experienced the forum 'hiccup' last night.

I never noticed it until you mentioned it Jim.
Now that it has been fixed, I have to say that I love that photo of the Victoria arriving at Tsawwassen. By far one of my favourites Mr. DOT has taken. I personally really miss that colour scheme.
