My mom is reserved for the direct tonight and I am going by foot. Have enough film for over 600 photo's at Fine JPEG on my 995 (D70 has grime on the sensor). So I will throughly document it tonight. I am not sure if I will be able to do the bridge (might be able to get away with it since the onboard flash is very good in pure darkness for doing close up photo's (like consoles etc). All depends on if I know any of the crew. Might just dump the photo's on www.ViewBCFerries.com until I can do up a properly design. Any request? advantage of night shooting is no glare and shadows for interior shots. If there are any Nanny crew members on here on the 10:25PM TSA-Long Harbour want to give me a tour for photo's for the site. |

Lol, you can never get enough photos of the Nanny at night! I've taken hundreds myself, but I can never seem to get enough of the cafeteria. Too many people all the time. Any chance you could get some more shots of the cafeteria that I can add to my collection?

Will drop about 50-100 of the cafeteria and even the galley. Will drop another 30-50 on front lounge, and so forth for other area's. You won't be able to add them to your collection since they will be ©ViewBCFerries.com Don't worry though, prints, T-shirts etc will be available with photo's. High res photo's will be available with watermarks. Anyone have problems with this? be completely honest about your thoughts. The site is going to cost $$$ to run you know (loads of photo's, hosting of people's photo's etc).
Any more requests?

Hey Biff, what are all your photo page sites??? I have a few bookmarked of the Victoria Day and summer ferry trips, I know you have Queen of New West night trip on webshots, I know I have seen a few others too. Those other links you sent me were really slow. My computer is slow to make matters worse which sucks. You have some excellent photos.

As far as photos go, I would like to see more interior photos of Queen of Surrey, Alberni, Chilliwack.
If anyone lives in Naniamo, Queen of Alberni will be doing a roundtrip from Departure Bay, a good chance to get on her. If I lived up there I would go.
I am in Victoria so I cant get on those ships too often.
SOBC is back on Tuesday I am hoping to go to Vancouver for the day on the SOBC, to check her out.

Got loads of the Cafeteria, and a couple of the snack bar area. Was really tired, and sore feet so walking was very painful. The stewart said that a crew member was heavily documenting the Queen of Nanimo before the refit which I was told is going to cost millions.
