I have bad news... Please choose an alternative photo. The berth structure in this instance is fore and obstructing the bridge. Sorry!

Late edit (2013 March 13):
I have decided that I will not enter this photo officially in this month's 'contest'. The photo is a 'pano' prduced using AutoStitch' and it is less than perfect; have a look at close look at those cables. I will enter instead, a Klondike II pilot house interior shot. See page 2 of this thread.
So would this photo be eligible?

So would this photo be eligible? After doing some research on the SS Klondike II, I've decided that I'm going to accept this photo. For those who are interested, this vessel carried freight in the Yukon until a highway opened in 1950. She then ran cruise-ship service until 1955, and was then restored (Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Klondike).

The info on Wikipedia is often not correct or complete. Although the Klondike II was primarily used to transport freight it did also carry passengers. It was licensed to carry 75 first & second class passengers (and others in steerage on the freight deck). www.pc.gc.ca/eng/lhn-nhs/yt/ssklondike/natcul.aspxThe passenger accommodation on board looks pretty nice, including the state rooms. If you ever find yourself in Whitehorse, capital of Canada's Yukon territory, be sure to visit this National Historic Site. It is highly recommended. I've got the perfect entry! We should put this up on the front page on April Fools' Day, as well as some pics of the Queen of Richmond and the Queen of Kelsey Bay! And let's not forget about the Sequim, the fourth JMII that was allegedly "not built." But she's out there, lurking in the fog....

Here's mine: Full-size is here. EDIT - More pics:Full sizeFull size(sorry, I know the last two are too wide. I sized it to 1024 width, but Proboards is being stupid and displaying them at a bigger size than what they should be.)

I'm guessing that this would not be a popular banner.... -------------- Queen of Vancouver at Fanny Bay. - posted just for show & tell.

I'd like to submit the photos below, but flickr doesn't have a 1200x340 option in the "BBcode". They only have 1024x290 or 3996x1132. When I resize on Preview, the quality of the photo decreases significantly. If anyone could show me a way to avoid this problem, let me know. The photos are located on my flickr page (first 2): www.flickr.com/photos/69188975@N03/Resize your photo in Flickr. Do this by clicking on 'Actions', and when the drop-down menu appears select 'Edit photo in Aviary'. When the Aviary window opens select 'Resize'. When the Resize window opens just type 1200 in the 'width' box and then click apply. You should be able to figure it out from there. Late edit:Better yet, resize your pics to the proper size (1200x340) before you upload them to Flickr. This process of resizing is done easily in pretty much any photo editing software.
