I do not think it was a hit-and-run since they talking to the drive. Now all the express routes from Bridgeport station are using Alex Fraser bridge until highway 99 is reopened.

Stories on this incident state quite clearly that it was a hit and run. I don't imagine that it would have taken too long for the driver to realize that he couldn't quite disguise the damage to his truck.

Apparently depending on whose story you are reading/listening to/viewing the driver did not flee the seen. I heard such a report later this afternoon on CBC Radio which contradicts the CBC website story.
