I suspect this may be a lone post, since the Princess Royal was scrapped long, long ago, and there isn't a lot of material out there on her, but I wanted to share the postcard I happened to luck on to.  |

Great photo of the 'Princess Royal' and I would agree that there isn't many of them around. Notice the rather odd configuration of the lifeboats on her port side, ( I assume the same on the other side), where there are 2 lifeboats on an upper deck forward and 2 on a lower deck, aft. Don't recall ever seeing that kind of layout although I may be mistaken. |
