Welcome to the Forum, ferrylife. Nice photo of Salish Orca, but we need it to conform to our Forum Flagship Banner specifications per the rules to which a link is provided in the first post of this thread. Besides the size and aspect ratio, it would also be good to straighten out the horizon, so the vessel is not tilted. Thanks.

Here are my two submissions: FULL SIZEFrom a post card, we see the ISLANDER, formerly Puget Sound's MERCER, doing trips at San Pedro CA. Notice how elaborate the terminals were on this short crossing. Complete with foot passenger planks! FULL SIZEFrom a pic my sister took in Hawaii, we see the YFB 87 in happier times doing trips to Ford Island. Unlike her sister HIYU, her passenger "cabin" had no outer side bulkheads and windows due to the usually warm climate they have there (stanchions and railings were installed instead). Out of service due to a bridge, this ferry is soon to be a welcome sight for marine life as preparations are nearly complete for the lowering of her into the sea.
