Our next flagship theme will be determined from suggestions by our Forum members. If you have any ideas for what you would like to see as a flagship theme, please submit them in this thread. We will take ideas up through July 13, then the moderators will vote on which idea will be the Sep-Oct 2019 theme, giving credit to the person that submitted the idea. We will then set up the theme, and nominations for that theme will be accepted up until the end of August. For reference, have a look through the Forum Flagship archives to see what has been done in the past. We're not necessarily opposed to repeating themes done before, but fresh ideas are always welcome. ferriesbc.proboards.com/board/20/forum-flagship

Here are some ideas posted in the Voyager's Lounge: I suggested foreign ferries awhile back. I do know that there are number of users that do travel to other parts of the world. It could include regular ferries as well as passenger-only. I suggested foreign ferries awhile back. I do know that there are number of users that do travel to other parts of the world. It could include regular ferries as well as passenger-only. Could be any ferries outside of our region (i.e. North American west coast including adjacent inland areas). So Canada & USA east of the Rockies would be included, as well as anything beyond the USA & Canada. Could be any ferries outside of our region (i.e. North American west coast including adjacent inland areas). So Canada & USA east of the Rockies would be included, as well as anything beyond the USA & Canada. I think east of of the Rockies would work for me. In my own archives I footage from Sicily, Malta and, Amsterdam and Sydney. Actually, passenger-only would be a good subject on it's own. I feel disheartened when I only see 15-20 of our 600+ members vote. Just to be different- how about ferry toys? I have another idea. FFF. Ferries & fall foliage.
We may have done this before or something similar at least. But this is much different than the "Moody Fall Ferries" done last year. Bright fall colours would have to be prominent in the photo as well as one or more ferries. What I have in mind is seen in the photo below. Although this is a train shot you can see that the train & the fall colours are both very prominent. Just make it a ferry rather than a train. An idea I got from my travels today is past and present. I got a shot of the Salish Orca and the Queen of New Westminster this afternoon.
