We have decided on a format to continue the flagship banner
> It won't be a contest. Moderators will decide which photos get displayed > We are going to try a 2x per year rotation. For the remainder of this year, it will run from July through December > This is the thread where you can post photos you would like to nominate > Moderators will do an internal vote on which photos get displayed just prior to the start date
THEME For the upcoming July-December 2020 banner period, we want to show current vessels that represent ferry operators along the west coast. There will be 12 photos displayed on the banner with the following breakdown: - 5 photos representing BC Ferries - 3 photos representing Washington State Ferries - 1 photo representing Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) - 1 photo representing Blackball Ferry Line (MV Coho) - 1 photo representing BC Ministry of Highways ferries (the interior lake & river ferries) - 1 photo representing other ferries along the west coast (Oscar B, Sanpoil, Pierce County ferries, Whatcom Chief, Seabus vessels, Frances Barkley, Digby Island ferry, and Nicola are some that come to mind)
nomination guidelines - You can submit up to 5 photos - Photo must be your own - It has to be a vessel currently operating (maybe we'll do a retired ferries theme next year) - You are allowed to submit photos previously entered in past contests
photo guidelines (flagship nomination rules still apply) - Banner size = 1200x340 pixels - post 1024x290 nomination to thread with link to full size image - please make sure all of your links work
Entries will be accepted up through June 30. The moderators will vote and decide which photos to be posted shortly after. Thanks.

First up, don't you mean semi-annual. Biannual is every two years. Just checking. Assuming past winners are not allowed.

You're only allowed 5 entries. Delated one of photos to make five because I misread.

Here are my five nominations: The 1200x340 versions of your submissions are not accessible. Your Northern Sea Wolf and Osprey 2000 are required for the rotation, so please enable access or PM links to a staff member. Thank you.

We should have it resolved soon. Thanks.

I wasn't sure about this new concept, but this looks good so far. I will miss the bi-monthly competition. It would be good to add a little international flavour to this as well.

I wasn't sure about this new concept, but this looks good so far. I'm with Paul on liking the new format. The photos are great quality, and a great variety.
