Just curious which ships currently offer postcards in their gift stores. I know you can get them on the Queen of New Westminster, but does anyone know if they are available on any other vessels? Thanks. Feel free to share photos of your own postcards here as well.

Thanks. I am fairly sure that all of the larger vessels in the fleet (vessels with gift shops) have post cards featuring the vessel that you happen to be on. This would include these vessels: Spirits, Coastals, C Class, the last remaining V class, NorEx, NorAd, & probably the Salish class.

I must have missed them when I went on spirit and coastal vessels in the summer. But to be fair, I wasn't looking for post cards in particular at the time. Thanks, I will have a closer look next time I go.

I believe I've posted these elsewhere here on the Forum, but a dedicated postcard thread for BC Ferries isn't a bad idea. Here are some that I have in my collection: Queen of Cowichan at Horseshoe Bay, 1970's Queen of Cowichan, 1970's passing Spirits, 1990's Spirit of BC, 1990's Queen of Vancouver in Expo livery Queen of Oak Bay in Expo livery the short-lived experiment: one of the "Fast Cats"

I have many postcards in my collection (2000's or later) not sure what the best way to post photos of them in this thread are though.
Current Vessels
I have official BC Ferries Postcards of all the C-Class Vessels (Pre-2003 blue and red livery) and Post 2003 of the Coquitlam, Surrey, Alberni, and Oak Bay)
Pre-2004 postcard of the Quadra Queen II
Northern Expedition
Northern Adventure
Spirit of Vancouver Island (Pre and Post 2003)
Spirits Passing in Active Pass (both pre and post 2003)
Spirit of British Columbia (Pre 2003 postcards, one with white boarder, one with blue boarder and Post 2003 (two photos split partway in middle of card)
All Three Coastal Class Vessels (with superimposed Vancouver Skyline in Background)
Queen of New Westminster (Post 2003)
Vessels No Longer in Service Queen of Prince Rupert (New Livery)
Queen of the North (both Pre and Post 2003)
Queen of Nanaimo (Post 2003)
Queens of Vancouver and Saanich (Pre-2003)
Queen of Esquimalt (Post 2003)
Pre-2004 two Victoria Class vessels passing in Active Pass
Hopefully I will figure out how to post photos here so some of you can see what they look like (if you have not seem them before). If you can note specific ones you are curious about seeing that would be great so I can avoid having to post photos of all of them.
I am personally curious to see postcards from the 1990's and earlier before my time to see what they look like.

I am not sure about now but in the late teens the Route 1 Vessels did not have their own but instead had the Northern Adventure Postcards. I did not see any Salish postcards when I travelled on the vessels over the past few years but maybe they have made some now. If you know where to find them a heads up would be greatly appreciated.

One postcard I would especially like is a Queen of Nanaimo postcard in modern BC Ferries colors, so what they would have sold in the gift store before retirement, for example.

The Spirit of Vancouver Island did not have postcards in stock last time I was aboard, however, interestingly enough the Coastal Renaissance had Queen of Oak Bay postcards in stock. They were 25 cents each, and were the only postcards they had. They said they don't seem to be getting the postcards in stock anymore.

Anyone seen any postcards in the gift shops recently? Last time I was on both Spirit vessels they didn't have any postcards at all.
