Actually, Ferryman is quite correct... My bad. Those little doors were shut the other day, so I didn't notice them.

It just occurred to me that I hadn't posted the answer to my pic from the other week. Dan is absolutely correct, it was the QoNW, sitting in berth 1 at Tsawwassen waiting to begin her never-ending-refit.

Well, I modified my post, so Canucks was actually first to guess the PRQ - he gets credit I'll put my post back to it's original guess.

If that's the Esquimalt it must be like days before retirement, the show that ad is for on the passenger deck started more or less simultaneously to the Esquimalt Retirement 1.

I think it's the Queen of Saanich and I'll guess that she's at Swartz Bay.

I vote Queen of Vancouver. The Saanich is coastlized and that isn't coastalized.

The winner of this week's round is Mirrlees. It was the Esquimalt in Departure Bay, taken last year on spring break.

Just wondering how you tell how it has not been "coastalized"? Is it the green paint?

I vote Queen of Vancouver. The Saanich is coastlized and that isn't coastalized. Actually, Saanich was never "Coastalized" - none of the V's were. The only vessels from the 7-Sisters fleet that have been Coastalized are Burnaby, Nanaimo, and now New West.

The Saanich was never "coastalized," however it did have an MLU in 1991(?) - Excuse me if I got that year wrong... The MLU was similar to that of what was done to the Cowichan during the same time period.

It was an interior upgrade, done to make the interior remotely match that of the Spirits. It was completed in 1995.
