I've decided on a more open ended theme for this month. For this months flagship, post your best shots from sailings during a sunset or sunrise sailing. Please make sure to follow the rules. The deadline for submissions will be Sunday, June, 28th @ 9:00 PM PDT. This deadline is subject to change depending on how many entries are submitted.

Is this limited to BC or can it be from anywhere?

Not nominations for the header contest but, since the theme has been suggested, I'll make use of this thread to showcase a couple of rare sunrise photos I have from a ferry crossing. You got a couple of nice shots there of Mt. Constitution, and Turtleback off to the right. Thanks for posting those!

Just one entry for now... The rules do not say that a ferry must be included in the shot, just that sunset/sunrise pics must be shot from a ferry. This photo was taken from the Queen of Coquitlam en route to Departure Bay on the evening of Friday, Aug. 3rd, 2007. The photo was taken from the ferry's starboard side looking north toward Texada and neighbouring islands. Any idea on the name of the cruise ship that is visible? Photo © JST

Here's the Guemes taken from Port Dock in Anacortes I'll say that there are already so many great choices submitted by all so far, and that there will be more, that I know this will be a difficult choice by the end of the month. That being said, as a fan of small ferries on minor runs, I'm looking at this as possibly the only time that the Guemes has ever been the subject of a potential banner photo. Worth a couple of points in my scorecard...... Of course, there's so much good about all of these.....
