Looks like the Esquimalt might be tied up for the night. She was suppost to do one more round trip tonight, but maybe the traffic didn't warrant it.

The Oak Bay left Horseshoe Bay at 7:15 instead of 7:00 to make up for the Esquimalt not doing the scheduled extra sailing at 7:15. It was a bit rough, but I think we were going with the wind most of the way.

More bad weather this morning. The extra Esquimalt sailings are cancelled and it looks like the Queen of New Westminster is delayed at Duke Point unless they just haven't updated it yet. This storm seems to be hitting north and east Vancouver Island the hardest as there is hardly any wind in Vancouver or Victoria according to Environment Canada.
Late note: The wind is starting to affect V-class on route 1 as well and the 6:30 ferries on route 2 look like they're taking 2 hours to cross as it's almost 8:30 and neither have made it to port. The Queen of Oak Bay coming into Departure Bay has been going pretty slow. There are also delays on the Gabriola ferry.

Lots of delays on the cross Georgia Straight routes. I wish I could be enjoying the ride but not sitting in the terminals with 1 and 2 sailing waits. Seems like a lot of the vessel tracking has gone off line as well.

I heard 3 sailing waits this afternoon. But dident know it was cause of weather. Thought maybe it was just busy

I came down from Quadra this afternoon. The trip to Campbell River on the QPR was surprisingly rough. A couple waves sprayed over the car deck. Checked in at Little River and watched the Queen of Burnaby come in 20 minutes late - not sure if it was weather related or not. Then stopped for a couple seconds at Buckley Bay and got a pic of the Kahloke loading up, but it was calm in there.

Yup. I should be more careful shouldn't I? We have a QPR and a PRQ:) All we need now is a QRP and a PQR and a RPQ and a RQP...

One of those should be the name of the new Intermediate Vessel. Just for John.
I wouldn't count on it though.
