Once again, 1 month to go till the Queen of the North Cruise on Oct 1st! So as of now who is all going? I know I will be there, I dont know if Sandi is cause we havent heard from her in months, Flugel Horn, if I remember right, are you going??? Anyone else? I sure hope the Queen of Prince Rupert dont break down and have to go into refit cause then the cruise will be postponed or even cancelled and I know some of us who are going dont want to think about that at the moment! Obviously it aint sold out cause it is still up on the schedules!

I hope I can see her at Tsawwassen that night but I cannot go up to port hardy. TOO FAR! But I might be able to go to Tsawwassen, what is BCF doing this for anyway? Just a money raiser?

I will be there, with my Mrs. too. I hope its a clear day....no low-cloud or fog.
Seymour Narrows is going to be my special treat.....I can't wait to sail thru over the remains of Ripple-Rock.
After we get to Tsawwassen, it will be the 10:45 pm Alberni back to Duke Point for me........

My mom and I would go, but someone said it's not exactly a smooth ride so it's off for me.

Anyone know if you have to have your confirmation number when you check in??? I lost mine but when we reserved for the 5pm ferry last Friday we never had a confirmation and we dident need it when we went through the toll booth so I am just wondering on that?? Do you know Flugel Horn?? This is mainly for the Queen of the North Cruise!

Smooth as in a rippled sea sailing. It all goes back to the flight from hell (150km winds for a few hours need I say more).

The worst that would happen is you'd take a swim with a life vest. The worst thing in the air would be coming face to face with a mountain.
Make no mistake, I fly a lot and take ferries a lot. I'm not afraid of any of them. I don't like doing spins in a plane, but that's about it.

Karl:
Both times I've travelled from Port Hardy, I had my confirmation #.
I suspect they can also identify you by name, or by credit-card #.
If in doubt, call BCF's reservation # for their northern routes.

I don't want to talk about it, but trust me when the flight attendant is holding on for her life, that's bad.

ah I see, well my last flight on WestJet in June flying to Calgary it was bumpy as hell! The pilots even told the flight attendants to sit down it was so bumpy! It was a clear day but I have never seen it that bumpy before!

It was Jan 3, 1993 Gatwick-YVR 11:45AM Canadian flight and 10 minutes are take-off hell broke loose. 160km+ winds and worse then bering on a buckling bronco for a few hours. Also in last seat of the 767 right window with my mom.

I'll spend my time on the cruise checking people's spelling & grammar, and reminding them to be polite...
No wait! that's what I do on this board!
On the cruise, it will be relax, relax, and watch the fog & raindrops. I am looking forward to Seymour Narrows.

Do you have a Cabin or a Reserved seat??? We dont have any. I will be spending my time just relaxing, watching the scenery and the big thing, taking photos, of the scenery and the ship!

No cabin, and no reserved seat.
Last year in the summer, we had reserved seats in the NorthStar Lounge, but we found this over-rated.
