Just thinking about different Gulf Islands and the ones with the best ferry watching, does anyone want to do a trip to Bowen Island either Sunday Monday Tuesday coming up?  I am thinking of taking a trip anyways to Bowen Island for the day so if there is anyone else who wants to come along, your more than welcome too. I would probably be driving over for the day and taking the 12pm sailing to Bowen then returning on the 5pm or 6pm from Snug Cove. Anyone else interested?? |

How about Sunday or Tuesday?? Tuesday would probably be less busy on the ferries than Sunday. So far it's just me Graham and CNR going! This should be interesting! I can take like 2 other people so that works out good if I take the car over to Bowen!

Just thinking about it I think we might try for Tuesday as it will be better for traffic on the ferries and should be less busy! Does that work for most people???

You guys should check out the view point over to Horseshoe Bay, if you haven't been up there before. If you're driving, turn left from Government Rd onto Dorman, then onto Robinson to the end, and a short hike up the hill. Google Earth shows the roads, and I see they've got a clear shot of Bowen now, with the Capilano in dock. Hopefully the trees haven't blocked the view- I haven't been there in a few years.
I'd like to join you, but I'll be on Hornby next week. (The walk around Killarney Lake is nice, too)

Okay. I can come, but I only have about four hours to kill for the whole trip. I need to be in Tilbury for 9 am and 3 pm  . I can probably get the first sailing over with you, then return on the next sailing out of "Snug Cove" or the one after (I'll have to see).  |

Well we will be going over probably on the 12pm sailing. I need to know by at least Sunday or Monday how many people are going in total so I know whether to bring the smaller vehicle or the minivan. So far it's me Graham and Jordon for sure, maybe Queen of Burnaby Teen and CNR.

I guess we can meet onboard the 12pm sailing or maybe even in the lineup if your driving over too. I could also pick up Jordon somewhere and I am not sure if Graham is gonna bus it or get a ride with me. But we got a while to figure that out.

I mean if I were the driver, I wouldn't go around picking people up just because they assume they're getting a ride. I'm about 80% in, the other 20% says that I'll be caught in traffic and/or I won't make it in time. |
