Well, I was looking over the RBI, and I noticed the Queen of Surrey is scheduled to return to service on Route 3 again, June 28th. I don't know about you guys, but I don't have school that day, and my last provincial in History is the day after that anyway. So I was thinking of taking a trip on her the day she comes back into service. Plus it would be a great way to start off the summer. Who would be interested in doing that?

Don't they ussually put them in service a few days early? Does anyone have the dates the Oak Bay, Cow and Coqu went back in? I seem to think it's a week or two early. Remember the Coquitlam or Cowichan sat around for a short period before summer sailings began on Rte2.

According to RBI the Surrey is back on the 28th on the Langdale run. On the 27th they have the Coquitlam listed. So we should see a service notice or news release about it soon.

Forgive me, but what is RBI? Besides 'Runs Batted In', of course.

The Galiano trip is July 7th weather permitting! Meaning if it's raining we wont be going, unless everyone wants to, lol!

Remember the Coquitlam or Cowichan sat around for a short period before summer sailings began on Rte2. The Queen of Coquitlam was scheduled to return on June 12th 2003, but that was changed due to engine problems, and was delayed untill June 24th. The Queen of Cowichan returned on June 21st, 2004 with no problems. Here was my very first post on this forum to prove it... ferriesbc.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=BCF&action=display&thread=1061858701&page=1#1087876278The Queen of Oak Bay returned on June 13th, 2005, with no problems at the time. The Queen of Surrey is scheduled to return on June 28th, 2006. BC Ferries better hope that nothing goes wrong with her at the last second, like with the Coquitlam, as the 28th is the day that kicks off the summertime travelling.

Ok, it's about a week and a half until the day of this trip. Will we be taking the traditional first sailing of the afternoon, or last sailing of the morning? Those sailings are the 11:45, and the 1:55 out of Horseshoe Bay. So far, these are the people who have said they're wanting to go: - Myself
- Karl
- Queen of Burnaby Teen - If he doesn't have other plans
- Jordan
- Graham??
- Dane
Anyone else? I will be fun, I swear..! For those of you who haven't met any of the the members from this forum who normally go on these trips, we haven't had any problems with having people being different from who they claim to be. Hahahahaha..........

The 1:55pm sailing would be better for me but if the earlier sailing is more convenient then that one is fine too! I am looking forward to seeing the new Surrey!
