Very nice pictures and videos, Graham! It looks like they're finally replacing the outer deck steel on the Coquitlam.

Today, I managed to get somewhat close to where the Tachek is located. Unfortunately, the best vantage point is on private land, but I didn't feel like getting my feet wet in Mosquito Creek...Anyways, here's the pics I got of the Tachek, or Tay-chek photosbychris2006.fotopic.net/c1092945.htmlNames that have a very debatable pronounciation makes the Coastal Theme grow on me a bit more... Anyways...enjoy the pics, as I've officially maxed out the space I have on my Fotopic account! Not bad for 1300 pics on 100 megs of space....

Yesturday I uploaded pictures to the Queen of Alberni Album at my site. The added pictures are of the exterior of the vessle while tied up at Berth 1 at Departure Bay the Day after she was pulled from service for her Mid Life refitt. s104.photobucket.com/albums/m196/shiptrackerPlease click on to the Queen of Alberni name and it will take you to the pictures. You would not believe the hassle I went through to get these pictures. It was high tide and I had to dodge the waves and trample through some trees to stay dry. Enjoy.

Here are some photos of the CuePeeArrrrrrr taken by a colleague of mine. She was on a pleasure-boat trip up inside passage, during July 2006. Enjoy these action shots. =================================

I have 2 questions for the experts, arising from the above QPR photographs:
1) Why is the aft mast painted black, instead of white? It seems misplaced in the livery colours.
2) In the top photo, I can see 3 passenger decks below the bridge. What type of area/room is located at the bow-end of each of those 3 decks? (ie. what is the space used for?)

No idea about her camera type. I'll try to remember to ask her, next time I see her.
