Nice Photos of the Wack. Is that all you have of her in the Gulf Islands Service? Shame that there isn't a shot of her docked in the SGI.

Unfortunately, that is all I have of her in the SGI. I haven't had the opportunity to take the Sunshine Coast trip in winter.

if there was a way to contact people off Photobucket I would. This person shouldent be using other peoples photos on his site without giving the proper credit. Although I guess it goes both ways as we dont have COPYRIGHT on are photos.

Although I guess it goes both ways as we dont have COPYRIGHT on are photos. I don't see why this is a problem, Karl. While photobucket may not be able to legally do anything due to the fact that the images in question are not copyrighted, perhaps it would do to inform them of the situation. I do not know if there is anyway to contact the individual who has posted the offending pictures without the proper credit being given, but even letting him/her know that you are "on to them" may prod them to do the right thing and cite their source for the images or remove them. While I am sure that you have the links to the photobucket site, I found this in the ToS which should apply to this situation... photobucket.com/terms5. Restrictions You will not do any of the following while using or accessing the Site or the Services: a. Post, upload, email, or otherwise transmit (i) any Content that you do not have the lawful right to copy, transmit and display (including any Content that would violate any confidentiality or fiduciary obligations that you might have with respect to the Content); (ii) any Content for which you do not have the consent or permission of each identifiable person in the Content to use the name, voice, signature, photograph, or likeness of each such person (to the extent each is implicated by the Content); or (iii) any Content that infringes the intellectual property rights or violates the privacy rights of any third party (including without limitation copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right, or moral right or right of publicity);" Then of course the following links ... re copyright (which may not apply) photobucket.com/copyright/and the contact page.... photobucket.com/contact

Posted a few photos from my Oct 27th trip to Victoria and back... about half of the ones that I took so far, are posted, and they were all in the early morning, so I got some interesting lighting, despite the fact that my camera was sort of rebelling against me... I'll also post some more later on... photobucket.com/albums/ff290/Mill-Bay/Oct%2027th%202007/

Seeing as the Queen of Sidney's sister the Queen of Tsawwassen will be off Jervis Inlet presumably forever soon, once the Queen of Chilliwack is back from refit, I figured photographs from the trip that forum members took to Silverdale, where the ' Sidney and San Mateo currently reside, after the 50th anniversary celebrations for the Albion ferry would be a good way to kick off a string of updates coming down the pipeline for my fotopic site 14 Silverdale: Ferry Graveyard Images

Well, I have now returned from today's Route 30 trip... Nothing exciting to report other than the weather was great, and the seas were like glass... However, we unexpectedly met up with Tyler in the Berth 5 waiting room at Tsawwassen after he dropped off his sister for the ferry... Photo's coming soon........ More photo's here (first 7).

A couple of pics from my fall 2007 visit south... These two are from this morning's 9:00 am sailing of the SoBC from Swartz Bay. We left about 10 minutes late. (I suspect the ramps were used on the first sailing from Tsawwassen as the SoBC was late arriving at SWB.) As a result of this we met the SoVI at the southern entrance to Active Pass. Our ferry seemed to be headed north as if to dock at the old terminal at Montague Harbour. We swung well wide thereby passing the SoVI 'green to green'. Both photos by JST ©

I have uploaded some videos to the Bowen Queen and mv Quinsam Albums to my site. The videos of the Quinsam was taken yesturday morning. The video shown her departure is her leaving on her weekly Dangerous Cargo sailing at 10:35am. The picture is not great but at least you can hear the ships engines. s104.photobucket.com/albums/m196/shiptracker/
