Great Shots of the Voyager, Chris. She Really Looks like she needs some exterior cleaning. I Like the Cameo By the (Not Actually showing any) Island Sky.

If she sits any longer she'll start looking like the Queen of Sidney.

Love the stormy photos. We tend to put our cameras away in the rain, but some of the best photos are in the fog and mist of the wet coast. I do not use my tripod as much as I should, but it certainly is a good idea. I have on of the new twisty types that can wrap around poles and railings. Freeman Patterson a canadian photographer of note uses his tripod all the time. He maintains it helps to concentrate on the composition. www.freemanpatterson.com/It would neat to see a series of photos of each ship emerging from the fog or mist. The other technique that is fun with digital is time exposures. With instant replay you know what your image will look like , in the past it is was always a mystery until the processing was done. A shot last night at Sturdies Bay, Galiano Island.

I see the shipping containers are still on the CR from the voyage. I would imagine they would need a special type of crane/attachment to get them off since they wouldn't be accessible from above or from the sides. Thanks 7sisters for the pics.

And I see it still says "Kingstown" on her end. When are they going to change it to say "Victoria"?

Scott, I am suprised they have not allowed you onboard the CR Yet. I would have thought you would be among the first to have a tour, even before the media.

Scott, I am suprised they have not allowed you onboard the CR Yet. I would have thought you would be among the first to have a tour, even before the media. With all of the familiarization and work taking place on her, plus the need for security clearance with written permission, it is a bit more of a hassle right now. I don't think I would have any issues getting written permission from the terminal manager if I was to ask, but I am happy to wait as I will finally get to check her out this upcoming Saturday...
