When I went to the CR open house I took a bunch of pictures of the Vancouver and the dent is not visible as it hadn't started to rust yet.

Excellent collaboration of photos, Graham! I have 2 favorites from your above shots: 1. The Queen of Esquimalt with the snow-capped mountains in the background. 2. The quality listing of the Queen of Nanaimo after turning around, departing from what appears to be Village Bay.

... Whoa! What's with the list? 2. The quality listing of the Queen of Nanaimo after turning around, departing from what appears to be Village Bay. Indeed this is the Queen of Nanaimo departing Village Bay, Mayne Island, though it's the first time that I've taken this the earliest sailing of Route 9 from Tsawwassen of the week, on a saturday, departing at 8:35am. This is a short-turn triangle of Tsa and the two Active Pass ports of call travelling from Tsa to Sturdies Bay, Galiano Island, to Village Bay, Mayne Island, and so is zigzagging in this photo after backing out of Village Bay Terminal to eventually turn to starboard to enter and transit Active Pass again on her way direct back to Tsawwassen Terminal. BTW, be sure to click the pic on my fotopic site for both the best quality / largest size, as well as - if the pic is too big for your screen - a personal fit. Another tip is to press F11 in Internet Explorer, atleast, to maximize your screen size when viewing pics or other webpages, shrinking obtrusive menus above and below.

Great pics of CR out and about, and what a great day for it, too! I hope to take a trip on her soon after she commences service. It might be fun to do a Route 30 /Route 2 day trip.

Thanks for the photos, Scott!
Does anyone have an idea as to what she was doing that day?
Scott, what does the little bronze/brass coloured plaque say below your framed photo?

Scott, what does the little bronze/brass coloured plaque say below your framed photo? " ;D Um, I would disagree with that. According to my eyes, that plaque simply says "The Coastal Renaissance".

Scott the colour in those photos is amazing. Cudos on the framed pic as well.
Graham thanks for the Deas update. The Tswwassen already looks on her way to matching her unfortunate sister up the Fraser. She looks rather forlorn or something.
