Oh wow, I've never seen that view before. I guess I will have to pay more attention next time.

Great photos Pscurr. For a minute there I thought the way the worker was looking at the rope I thought that it was a giant python. Then I remembered this is BC.

The giant python is in fact the water hose used to refill the Queen of Naniamo. I also have a photo of the terminal attendant ready to pass the hose to the ship!

I found this while scrolling thru one of our destination signs...goes back many years to when PCL used to go up island. Very cool! I have to admit to someone that ever since I was a youngster, whenever I have seen any bus change its sign, I have never been able to not stop and just stare at all the names of places as they go by. It's one of the biggest things I miss about buses (especially transit buses) since most of them have those electronic signs now.

That's some neat photos, Ferryrider.
As some of us were on the bridge of the Queen of Vancouver about half an hour prior to that, I can recall hearing the HMCS Calgary calling into Victoria Traffic, but didn't realize she was in the area.
I also had the opportunity to sail on the HMCS Calgary from Canada Place to CFB Esquimalt almost exactly 8 years ago. Was quite the experience that I'll never forget. A nice smooth ship to sail on.

Nice Photos, Mikey. I never noticed until now that the Antenna on top of the SoBC's Funnel was moved to where the SoVI's is.

I found this while scrolling thru one of our destination signs...goes back many years to when PCL used to go up island. This is exactly the kind of thing that private and public transit aficianados such as myself long for, particularly in the now rare mylar medium. Thanks so much. - Here's an image including a bus and paint scheme that have stuck out in my mind ever-since paying particular attention to those other than the standard Victoria - Vancouver ones that I remember seeing quite often growing up while travelling to and from Tsawwassen in a car on Hwy. 17, always marked as something along the lines of "American Sightseeing" under the PCL branding and colours, between the ferry and the Greyhound coach at right...
