Nice pics Kam! The first one looks like CI is about to go high and dry. That would be embarrassing.

Kam, love the pics. The first one of the Inspiration and the first one of the SOVI are both great.

Nice pics Kam! The first one looks like CI is about to go high and dry. That would be embarrassing. I know, the tides have been wild this week. I found it hard to believe that there was enough water at birth 1 for her! I felt like I could reach out and touch her. I was likely only 50 feet away from her hull and standing on gentle sandy slope!

Gorgeous!
A great new perspective of our ferries and the beautiful scenery in which they sail.
And thanks for the update on the Island Sky. It sure is tough to get a good photo of her on land these days

Great pics. It really gives a sense of how vast the West Coast is. The Island sky is looking good too.

This ferries definitely loom a little less large in our viewfinders from the air.
And the Island Sky definitely looks a thousand times more appealing from the air.

Your Photos look very nice, "Adam DJ" Every angle I see the Island Sky at makes her look that much more interesting. Still can't wait for her Maiden Voyage.

A picture from today showing the CR in service again after her little holiday, and the Capilano going about her business. This was taken along the old BCR rail line...I'm not sure where but it was a little past Squamish. Sorry about the quality I was on 24x zoom or something like that on a moving train so getting it straight is just a little hard.

I haven't gone through all of my pics from yesterday's excursion, but here are a few: 1. Cowichan & Quinsam 2. Cowichan approaching Duke Point 3. CI at Duke Point just prior to inaugural voyage 4. Boarding CI Okay - I just had to include these pics. This is in Port Angeles at the Black Ball Terminal yesterday morning as I was waiting for the Coho. This is about the tamest raccoon I've ever seen. He was just trolling the lot looking for handouts, I suppose. I'll post more later.

I'd say it was worth it to wait 45 mins. for that shot Alex because it is a beauty!
Also, Orcasnative talk about being in the right place at the right time because that shot of the Cowichan and Quinsam is a beauty too!

As promised, here are some more photos from yesterday. Here are some pics of Coho:Mid-Ships Lounge Bow deck Forward Lounge Skeena Queen Fulford Harbour Vesuvius Bay Howe Sound Queen approaching Vesuvius Howe Sound Queen A "Coastalized" Howe Sound Queen cabin Coastal Inspiration:In a rare moment, someone at BC Ferries forgot to rope off the stairs to the helicopter pick-up/drop zone, so passengers were taking every advantage. Here are some pics from that location Queen of Cowichan as seen through CI's forward shelter windows on Deck 7 Queen of Cowichan & Coastal Renaissance (it was a long zoom so that's why the pic isn't too clear) Queen of Cowichan Spirit of Vancouver Island sailing off into the afternoon sun There are more photos in my album.

Nice photos there Orcasnative... some one time opportunity shots from the top deck of the Inspiration, and the Coho looks like she has some pretty comfy seats in the forward lounge, and she still has her signature curved windows.
