Well, I though think if you make a copy of a photo here - and print it, it will never have the quality of a photo someone has taken and sold ? Which would on ebay appearantly result in a bad feedback and you can´t afford that, if you are a serious seller.
Mac Write.. well, I must admit I did sell ferry-postcards and photos on ebay once, and it made good money as well especially when you have more stuff for one auction. Nothing wrong with that, as long it´s your own stuff really, or things you bought and sell further or ?

I'm back from my trip. Although this is the first thread that I've read, and it will take me some time to read the others, a few of the members from here informed me of my pics being on ebay via MSN Messenger; thanks guys, much appreciated. I will be sending Webshots an Email about this, simply because they are the host of my galleries (currently) and might frown upon photos from their website being sold by people other than their members for a profit. I will not, however, stop uploading my photos as "Full Size" resolution; that would be letting the poachers win. Not choosing the "Full Size" upload option would defeat my reasoning for showing them on Webshots.com in the first place, which is the ability of anyone to press that "Full Size" button and have the shots conform, at their highest quality, to the viewers' computer screens. All of my online photos are accessible to everyone for a reason: I want to show people snapshots of their own world that they might have not seen before, and, just maybe, motivate them to see or read about the subject matter for themselves. Thank you to all the people here who have helped me strive for this goal; the aim is mutual, and I've got your backs too. Cheers, Graham Johnson

Stealing photos should definitely not be "on" - I do wonder though, whether these photo-hosts do have something so you can set your status so that photos can not be saved by right-click etc. Hopefully you have found out who the bad guy/girl was and told your opiniom

I do wonder though, whether these photo-hosts do have something so you can set your status so that photos can not be saved by right-click etc. I guess I just assumed that they did... After all, we know how far companies, especially in the States, go these days to cover their butts.

Graham:
the white-on-white is tough to read, with the white part of the Dogwood flower.
I may have taken some LSD by mistake, because I'm seeing giant dogwood flowers. I've left the photopic site....I close my eyes, and I still see those giant dogwood flowers.

I like the pencil-sketch of the car-deck photo.
reminds me of the A-ha video "take on me" from the mid 80's.

Speaking about the 80's, anybody heard the English song "Baggy Trousers" by Madness? Here to watch it:

While down at Nanaimo Harbour this afternoon, I thought I would get some shots of the Bowen Queen... They are located here.

Nice pictures Scott! I particularly found the fleet of concrete trucks on the deck interesting...you don't see them very often on ferries. They'd likely have to keep the engine running to keep the drum moving on the way over.

Awesome shots of the Surrey! It's hard to believe that style of interior with be completely gone in a few months....
Do you have any more interior photos of the Ferries? Oh, and what happened to those shots of the Ferries in the snow from last year?

Do you have any more interior photos of the Ferries? Oh, and what happened to those shots of the Ferries in the snow from last year? I have interior shots of most Southern-Classed ferries. I was thinking of doing a gallery of the old interior of the SoVI, considering that that's another ship-interior-design that we won't be seeing again (with some shots of the only-ever lantern cafe). Re Ferries in the Snow. Those were taken on my old 3.2 megapixel point-and-shoot, a while ago, and those shots are still on my mom's computer (from that time when I when I was without computer); but I will try to get them to my place soon, as I've now had a few requests (over the past few months).
