I am on the Queen of Surrey has very loud upper deck loading, hopefully BC Ferries will fix this in her refit.

I don't really like the popular comment, "First world problems!"... but maybe this qualifies. I suggest BC Ferries give out free ear muffs to all potentially annoyed passengers in the lounge.

Queen of Surrey is supposed to re enter service on April 1, would the Powell River Queen go to Deas Dock after the Queen of Surrey leaves? That got delayed by 19 days. I wonder what the delay is?

Did the Queen of Surrey get her elevator on No 1 added or extended to sun deck during her mid life refit?

Going back almost 40 years to the time of 'Expo' ... Queen of Surrey just underway from Horseshoe Bay - circa 1986. I am pretty sure that the Surrey at that time was on the Nanaimo run. In the background you can see the ferry that was then serving Bowen Island. This is a scan of a colour Xerox print, not the best sort of original to work from.

I personally think Queen of Surrey and Queen of Oak Bay are better suited for route 2 service due the extended passenger cabin compared Queen of Cowichan and Queen of Coquitlam.
