I was thinking of dropping by the beach to see it around 4 or 5pm, would it leave by then? If anyone knows She's moving now, but just seems to be turning around. I would surmise that she just let the vehicles off (not sure whose vehicles were on there, but there were some) and is now backing in and will stay a while.

Those would be crew vehicles, drive up and boat back to Dep Bay. Bowen Queen just replaced the Quinitsa on route 6, and I'm assuming here, but Quinitsa will be headed to Buckley Bay today or tmr. My bet is the Quinitsa will be the relief vessel in Buckley Bay, or even take over peak summer rush from the Kahloke.

I imagine BC Ferries will be doing their usual seasonal thing of taunting Hornbyites by parking Quinitsa at Buckley Bay while people wait three and four sailings for the Kahloke, so they had to move the QQII out of Buckley. EDIT: Yup... Quinitsa headed north, just past Gabriola.

If BCFS did use her on Hornby this summer, I'm not holding out much hope, but the Kahloke is needed on route 12 badly.

And the Quadra Queen II seems nicely tied up at the maintenance berth now.

Caught word that the QQII might be making a rare appearance at Saltery Bay this afternoon and since I live 10 minutes away from the terminal I drove down and snapped a few shots of her arriving as well as doing a re-docking maneuver shortly after the Malaspina Sky departed.

Quadra Queen II might be at Horseshoe Bay (maybe? it might be one of those fake ships on marinetraffic because it does not show where it went) Looks like she's actually at Saltery Bay.

Hey! Brand new to this forum not even sure if I can post pictures yet, but the QQII is still docked in Saltery Bay, I asked a crew member and apparently she's leaving on Tuesday to run the Cortes route in relief.
