Mayne Queen's refit is cancelled and Mayne Queen retired for “Other cancellations included the Mayne Queen Refit (major overhaul and inspection) based on the vessel’s assumed retirement”.

Mayne Queen is cancelled and retired for “Other cancellations included the Mayne Queen Refit (major overhaul and inspection) based on the vessel’s assumed retirement”. Will the Mayne Queen be going to Fulford Harbour like the Bowen Queen and Powell River Queen did, for the Powell River Queen to visit Deas Dock? What?

Will the Mayne Queen be going to Fulford Harbour like the Bowen Queen and Powell River Queen did, for the Powell River Queen to visit Deas Dock? What? Inside of the "British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. Supplemental to Performance Term Six Filing", it shows the Mayne Queen refit as a cancellation

Mayne Queen's bridge, August 19 2022. It looks so modern and clean, I think Mayne Queen could have easily stayed in service for longer. Is Mayne Queen really retired so early?

Jeez, Ollie... she's 58 years old. In most of the industrialized world, a salt water ferry would have been retired long before now. It's only in B.C., Washington, and Alaska where we try to keep rusty old relics going this long. Really easy to keep a wheelhouse looking spiffy. That's the lipstick on a corpse. Apparently, BC Ferries found more problems than they expected after they announced plans to use her as a relief vessel.

I guess Mayne Queen is already lucky to last for 58 years then, but somehow even the Powell River Queen outlasted Mayne Queen. Just a few more months would have been nice.

I'm gonna miss these boats. Too bad they decided against refurbishing Mayne Queen.

Marinetraffic is currently showing that Mayne Queen has moved the angled corner of Deas Dock where Bowen Queen previously was. Is anything happening to Mayne Queen?

It looks like Mayne Queen moved to fit the Queen of Coquitlam, but why didn’t the Coquitlam go to a different empty spot (berth?) in Deas Dock instead without moving Mayne Queen?

Perhaps to make room for the Northern Adventure when she's finished her season. Speaking of Mayne Queen any updates on The Powell River Queen? Is she still at Fulford?
