My dad's home movie excerpts of a Mill Bay ferry trip and a visit to The Butchart Gardens.
- era is 1965. (I can narrow it to between 1964-66) which places this in the Coast Ferries era.

The June edition of Western Mariner has a photo of the Buttle Shuttle, showing what looks to be a significantly altered superstructure. Looks like the portside car lane has been built in under the house. Can't quite tell from the photos Scott posted three years ago if the alterations were done at that time.

The Buttle Shuttle now calls Port Harvey home, where Mike Buttle runs his shipyard business. They run a camp as well which I stayed at while working out that way back in January.
Unfortunately I didn't get any close up pics since it left part way through my stay at the camp, but I did manage to get a shot of it departing into the sunrise.
The old car deck below the bridge has been completely enclosed and a small structure has been built on the one end with a couple of bedrooms in it.

So rare, and so nice, to see an ex-BC Ferries vessel have a productive retirement. Thanks for the update 'mrwilson'.
