This is all well and good, but I think it was admitted that the trip between Victoria and Campbell River would involve transfers between five systems. The province needs to either subsidize Island Link, or some other private carrier, or buy out their routes with reasonable compensation, and have a BC Transit link all the way up the southern half of the Island.

I believe this just beginning of more frequency and hopefully an express route between Downtown Nanaimo or Woodgrove Centre to Downtown Courtenay.
