Yeah, the Queen of Nanaimo is "due" back on route 9 on the 23rd, according to the original news-release/service-notice. Of course, we all know how loosely BCFS applies the term "due" to when ships are to come back... especially when that ship's been out for months.

(double post... sorry) I'll be sure and get down to Deas sometime close-to and before the 22nd in order to report back to you folks about how it looks like it's coming along. Of course if the Nanaimo is going to stay out longer, I'd hope we'd be informed by BCFS before the 22nd.

Global-BCTV were at Deas yesterday explaining the work that was being done out there, and they showed a bit of the engine room on the Nanaimo. But it still doesn't look like its anywhere near being complete yet. Also the North looked good, a nice fresh coat of paint on her.

Where is the Tsawwassen going after this? I heard she is going to replace the Burnaby.
