No, you can only use the Seawest lounge if you pay the $7. piritofritisholumbiahotos.fotopic.net/p13242256.htmlThis was coming back from Tsawwassen on the 7pm sailing so you can see the lounge wasent too busy. The entrance is on the starboard side and the port side doors are always closed. I guess that is the exit. I think there are two employees in the lounge. It looks like people can just go up and help themselves to coffee and different food items. Sort of the like the Buffet.

oh, well yeah that is open to everyone. They used to have a little door that you could exit from the back lounge but that is gone now since it's a pay lounge now.

With the price hike yet again of the buffet now being $16 for lunch, I am considering vacating the buffet (but really love thew space I have had for the last 5+ years). I am starting to consider the lounge. Since there's no breakfast, I could take a later sailing then the 11AM from Swartz bay (7AM from TSA due to having the only meeting bus which gives enough time to get on-board).
Anyone been in the lounge and know if they serve pop? Now to see if I can con the office into letting me have two seats for space. I need space and hence why I live in the buffet.

oh no!! I just looked at the current conditions page and the SOBC was out for the first round trip this morning. I looked and it shows the Queen of Vancouver doing the 7am from Tsawwassen and the 9am from Swartz Bay. But according to the current conditions the SOBC is back for the 11am sailing from Tsawwassen. Anyone know what is up with that??? No service notice about it though. We have too many ships being pulled from service, what's going on here?

According to Tyler Noble from the Yahoo site, who got it from the newspaper said the SOBC had a propeller shaft problem last night, and the last sailing it did took 3 hours.
She must of been going pretty slow if it took 3 hours to sail from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen. They would arrived at midnight.
