Are the coastals top-heavy when compared with other BCF boats? Seeing all those deck levels I would guess so but I'm not sure. No. I have know idea. Probably a better idea to post when you do have an idea. |

Coastal Celebration crossing Trincomali Channel en route to Swartz Bay - 28 March 2013. This was the 6:00 PM Route 1 sailing from Tsawwassen, on the eve of the Good Friday - Easter long weekend. The Coastal Celebration came home to Swartz Bay this evening, shortly after 5:00pm. She has just returned from the Esquimalt Graving dock. They cleaned her right up, and of course covered up part of the Olympic logos similar to how the other Coastals were done. The Inspiration is now the odd ball of the triplettes since she's the only one without the blue stripe above the logo. As seen from the deck of the Bowen Queen tonight. The Celebration and New Westminster are unlikely route-mates, as the pair of #2 ships. Here they are in Active Pass (their regular meeting place, as long as one of them isn't late for the date). - July 15, 2013.     ------------------- In the strait, with lovely Coast Mountains backdrop. - Headed for Swartz Bay on her 2:00pm sailing.  |

This is a long video compilation of approx. 10 different journeys through Active Pass by ferries.
- taken from shore at Miners Bay, Mayne Island during the evening of July 14, 2013 and then from 6:15am to 12:45pm on July 15th.
Video is sped-up 2.5x, which allows you to hear and enjoy the various ship horns as they sound near/in the pass.
This video compilation includes multiple trips of the 4 Route-1 ships as well as the Route-5 ships, Route-9, and an appearance by Princess Superior. The ships appear in chronological order.
I've posted this into each of these ship's threads.
