With The Coastal Celebration out for the Canada Day Weekend will the Renaissance stat on route 1 or will she be moved to route 30 leaving route 1 with 3 ships for the long weekend?

I think BC Ferries will operate three vessels on route 1 during long weekend if Coastal Celebration hasn’t returned to service.

Coastal Celebration has been printed for the summer season. Care to clarify that statement?

Does anyone know if the current issue with the C-Cel is in anyway related to last winter's drive motor failure? Considering that this vessel is the newest of the major vessels in the fleet it seems to be having more than its fair share of 'issues'.

The Celebration just went through Active Pass and should be continuing sea trials throughout the night!

I think that most believe that it is the older boats that give BC Ferries most of its 'issues'. But of the eleven major vessels serving the main routes (1, 2, 3 & 30) the Celebration is the newest, and it sure is providing more than its fair share of headaches at the moment.
Are these all related to the problem that she had last winter that led to BCFS swapping her with the Inspiration?

I am going to say no because it sounds like blade sear that is leaking this time: www.cheknews.ca/bc-ferries-vessel-pulled-from-service-along-major-victoria-to-vancouver-route-1161232/So, I don’t think BC Ferries can swap Coastal this time.
