Great picture! Just look at that beautiful shiny funnel!
I thought that photos and multimedia don't show on the BCF's wireless... I guess they do.
Well, as for me, I've boycotted it on every route except for the 4+ hour routes, so I won't be posting any photos unless I'm in the terminals. I guess if I were a resident with my property backing onto Active Pass, I could run to the seaside on a sunny day with my laptop, wait for a ferry to pass, and check my email and stuff before the connection goes away. No more paying for internet! I wonder if people who live next to Departure Bay/Horseshoe Bay/Swartz Bay terminals will be able to get the connection once they get it going at the terminals? We use wireless at our house, but we don't have a password on it, so I know that pretty much all our neighbours up to 6 or 7 houses away use our connection instead of paying for their own. Our router is pretty strong, I guess
SoVI starting her engines for the 12:00 sailing to Tsawwassen. She moved from here to berth 1 before the sailing actually left.
My ferry-riding tradition: BC Burger, fries, and a pop with about 1/8 ice, 2/3 Iced Tea, and 1/3 Sprite/7-up. I used to always get a straberry shortcake, but they've replaced the desserts, so the mango cheesecake is my new dessert. It's really good! Oh, and I got one yam-fry in there. That's good luck
They already pasted these all over the Coastals, and now on the Spirits too?
These seats look suspiciously like the pre-coastalization seats with seat-covers on them. Am I right?
Further evidence: a zipper on the bottom. Could this just be a slip-on?
SoVI's emergency generator in her funnel.
Doing a man-overboard drill. They tossed a bucket overboard. I'll be uploading a video tomorrow.
That's the biggest rainbow I've ever seen, and some people who were on that trip said the exact same thing. Just from that rainbow, everyone on the outside deck started talking as if they'd been friends for years. It's funny how things like that bring a sense of community to an otherwise very large, impersonal place.

SOVI on 11/11/2010:
Why post a dark & grey photo of 2 ships that have been photographed many times before? - This is the winter reality of asymmetrical Spirit-schedules. One is a #1 ship and the other is a #2 ship. As such, they now normally meet in the strait instead of in Active Pass.
SOVI and Princess Superior, in Swanson Channel - photo taken at same time as the one that Scott has posted, above in this same thread. (from Bowen Queen)
