Just happened to come across this on a google search. A pretty detailed model of the Nanaimo. Looks like they're trying to build a Queen of New Westminster as well. I'd be curious to keep an eye on this site to see if there are any updates posted to the website. www.boydsolar.com/Lockheed-Marine/philosopy.htm

Video compilation of Q'Nanaimo at Village Bay, on November 10, 2012.
This is from when I was on the Queen of Cumberland, and we had to wait off of Village Bay for the Q'Nanaimo to vacate the berth.

I'm not sure what prompted this article in today's Nanaimo Daily News, but here it is: ...She was constructed for an initial cost of $3.5 million and designed by Phillip Spaulding. While that article was nothing we didn't already know, I don't think I have ever seen an article in the media that has mentioned Philip Spaulding. What a coincidence since this month marks what would have been his one-hundredth birthday... I wonder what role we may have played in that being mentioned... ;D
Now if we could just get the single-tone whistle issue dealt with aboard the Coastal Celebration, then everything would be tickity-boo... ;D
