I’m currently at Langdale waiting for the 1:05 sailing on the Queen of Surrey, the Queen of Oak Bay is still here tied up in Berth 2, lights on the car deck are on, doors at both ends of the car deck are open, lights are on in the main car deck however the ship not running and no crew in sight

Would be great if someone could get a picture of the twins together at Langdale. Hint, hint hint.

Anyone happen to know why the Queen of Coquitlam is currently being used in place of the Queen of Oak Bay on Route 2, and when the Oak Bay might be returning to service?
I kinda miss the Oakey. My favorite ship.

Oak Bay is in refit, currently at Seaspan in Esquimalt. I myself do not know return to service date - surely someone here does, though!

I was checking the RBI at BC Ferries a few days ago, She is out until well into February. So if you like the Oak Bay, you're in luck her sister is operating on rt 2. The Queen of Surrey lvs HB at 6:35 pm and Departure Bay at 8:45 pm nightly.
