Are people having this problem when you press quote nothing is showing up? Never mind.

Are people having this problem when you press quote nothing is showing up? No. I just tried it with this quote-reply, and it worked fine for me. ....but my photos are still at 996 instead of 1,024 wide....

Just looking back through some month-old stuff on this page and I found this post: One of the Problems I've experienced with V5 is that it Modifies my Posts. Sometimes it looks like I pressed the Space Bar a few too many times. Other Times it randomly adds a bunch of Script and Gibberish to my Quote. Wow! I had that problem a few days ago when I pasted into a quote the text of an email I sent to BC Ferries about the new Route 9 and 17 vessels. It added a bunch of gibberish to the end of the email that I didn't notice until I clicked "post." Then I had to click edit and remove it all. It also put in a bunch of line breaks.

ProBoards experienced inconsistent server issues the evening of April 22nd, and we will likely see the same thing on April 23rd. ProBoards is aware of the issue and they are working on a solution. Until then, you may want to copy-and-paste your post before posting, in case the server crashes in the process.
Thanks for bearing with us and sorry for the inconvenience.

I did not notice anything on April 22 nd. The issues were inconsistent. The real meltdowns were taking place after 21:00. Today has been problem-free, so we should be good.

Hi everyone,
I would like to apologize for the server issues that ProBoards has been having for the past week. I know a few of you (myself included) have lost posts, some of which were fairly substantial, that took a while to produce.
ProBoards did the mass roll-out of it's Version 5 software this week, so I suspect that the temporarily high pressure put on it's servers has something to do with it.
If you are posting a longer post, or one with a high quantity of images, please copy-and-paste to your clipboard. This will help ease your frustrations in case you receive an error message.
Again, my apologies. I know that this ongoing V5 boondoggle is the last thing you want to read about...
Thanks.

Just a heads up to moderators... I have been experiencing login issues. When I log in as I would normally, it brings me to the page I left off where it says "Welcome Guest". I have to click Login again, which then actually logs me in, but redirects me to the home page.

Along the forum footer, where the most recent post is described, it displays some posts being made by "Guest" with no available username. I am thinking this has to do with the same login issues that others are reporting.
As well, ProBoards seems to be having more server issues (I got booted off a couple of times yesterday)...
As Scott mentioned, the Support forum is aware of these issues. Hopefully these hiccups get taken care of sooner rather than later.

Anyone know why all posts show the following for posting times: Aug 7, 2013 1:50:36 GMT -7
It doesn't say "2 hours ago" or show the time in local time. Pretty confusing I must say.
This just happened on my computer within the last week and I don't know if it's a forum-wide thing.
I can't find a setting that changes it either, thus my post here.

This is the latest Proboards V5 error message I've encountered. Maybe whoever submitted this header wants a new signature image.

They've been wreaking a lot of havoc on Proboards this past year. Angry bears were also present when this forum was "Wacked out" a week ago after the CirclePac trip. I got a lot of server issues then. Someone needs to capture those angry bears and take them far, far away, where they'll never cause trouble for Proboards again.

I agree with you; I hate those stupid angry bears. I have not been having lots of severe issues when connecting to this forum for the past month.

I hate those stupid angry bears. Are they angry grizzlies? ie. "harsh browns" ? ps: only Karl is allowed to call things "stupid" on this forum. If you want to purchase the posting-rights for that word from him, that's up to you to negotiate a price with him. (this is humour)

Sunday, January 18th was the 1-year anniversary of our forum's switchover to a new version of Proboards.
....for those who like to mark these kinds of anniversaries.
I think things have settled down quite well regarding this change. I know that I'm happy with how I use the forum and where I find the various buttons and icons.
I'm still figuring out how to pace myself with the "Like" button. I mainly use it when I want to thank someone for a post, or acknowledge someone's reply, without cluttering the thread by doing a 2-word post.
