I don’t see why they just don’t build the View Royal Transit Centre to Conventional Bus Transit Centre?

i would say its purely budgetary they already have taken over the handydart yard beside the wilsons bus depot and it is where transit sercurity and transit supervisorare based from aka CTC or Commerce Transit Center

Will Wilson be kick out of transit centre? Doesn’t BC Transit already own the property?

I wonder if the 2019 double deckers order will be similar set up to CMBC ones. Do you know when they will be delivered? Will there be a difference between them and ones operate by CMBC?

Well besides obvious stuff like the paint scheme and the next stop announcement I don't think much else would be changed (maybe the seats) but besides those it would be the same. I did have a dream one time though and it was not a good dream that I saw a Translink bus in Nanaimo, and I found out that they were now operating there and even worst I saw 2 2009 Nova Bus LFS HEVs and 1 2007 Nova. Kind of offtopic but I thought I would mention about a dream that I had of Translink buses in BC Transit operations.

Actually there are huge differences such as transmission is different BC Transit uses Voith D864.5 while uses TransLink ZF EcoLife. Also CMBC Enviro500 are differently design with exhaust pipe on curbside instead of underside.

Well some of BC Transits buses uses ZF Transmissions like the 2013, 2015 and 1070-1093 of the 2016 XN40s and some 2012 Novas use the ZF transmissions but most BC Transit buses do use the Voiths but some of the BC Transit Double Decker do use the Allison B500R6 Transmission and the Enviro500H uses a Allison EP50 Transmission.

Will these be used as fleet expansion and replace for original double deckers in Victoria?

It will be interesting to see BC Transit with seats that look like Translinks

Oh jeez BC transit is really headed down the toilet 🚽 now 😱 Context is essential, if you are going to post a statement like that, without explanation. Why do you say this? Is this hyperbole? Is this just an isolated bad experience? Otherwise, that statement is just as useful as a reader-comment in The Province. (ie. no credibility)

Oh jeez BC transit is really headed down the toilet 🚽 now 😱 Jimmy, myself and others here have some working knowledge of transit operations in BC. Perhaps we could shed some light on a particular issue, if you take LLM’s suggestion and provide us with some clarity.
