Queen of New Westminster and the Spirits in Active Pass, today.
I managed to get to that ferry spotting location on the east facing side of Mount Galiano for these photos! It's very overgrown and you have to walk through a lot of jungle to get here but I think it is worth it for this view. You can even see Mount Baker if the weather is clear enough!

I appreciate your bushwacking. Personally, I don't really need to see any more shots of all the usual ferries in Active Pass, from the usual vantage points... you showed us a different perspective. This photo of the two Spirits is, in a word, fabulous. You have earned the Nicolas Morant award, IMHO.

Any recommendations for spots on Mayne? I guess the whole west part of the island is inaccessible. Georgina Point Heritage Park And Lighthouse or Mayne Island Waterdrome for first three trips, 6 am to 8 am sailing out of Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen.

Any recommendations for spots on Mayne? I guess the whole west part of the island is inaccessible. The beach below Springwater Lodge at Miner's Bay. There are floats there. My photo below was taken from there in June 2011.
