So, do you think my camera will be able to take pictures from Fred Gingell Park that I can post on the forum? As long as you have it zoomed in and hold your camera steady and level, then sure.

And keep the shutter speed high - 1/500 of a second or faster. This will help to give you sharp photos without motion blur.

I don't think so as it should be possible to shoot photos from the road right-of-way. But new port security (e.g. MARSEC) might mean the whole causeway is closed to the public. I had a problem with this just a few weeks ago at Prince Rupert's Ridley Island access road. There's no closures along the causeway itselfas people use it for walks, but I would not get too close to the enterance where the trucks go in and out. That may trigger some suspicions. There is alot of truck traffic on the causeway, so park well off the road. How many people walk? Were is a good place to park? Is the Delta superport causeway private property?

There is alot of truck traffic on the causeway, so park well off the road. There is a turn around point just before the enterance. Also the railway on the northwest side of the causeway is private property. News to me, so I appreciate that information. I've gone for a run from the end of River Road, and when I got down to the railroad tracks, there were stern warnings about trespassing, so I just assumed the whole causeway was off limits.

Which I need help to get them back for [glow=yellow,2,300]FREE?[/glow]You get what you pay for, and if it's free, it probably doesn't work. You can get them recovered (if deleted from the SD card) but it can get very expensive. It probably isn't worth it for your photos. PS: You might also need some help with the English language

Do not it it's long. Got a problem with that? I have no problem with mooching! I mooch regularly. Much less than I used to, but I can't say I've stopped entirely.

It's ok. All the more reason to go out and do some more ferry fanning Good advice. For the most part, most of our coastal ferry photography opportunities will repeat themselves over and over and over again. ....but it's those days, such as that August 2012 day when I was stuck at work and unable to chase the departing Queen of Vancouver, which can never be repeated.

Or that lucky July 2012 day when I happened to be in the middle of the straight heading back from Lasqueti Island when I peaked up over the railing and happened to see the Queen of Vancouver being towed by towards Fanny Bay. I think within an hour of my announcement, we had five people out looking for her... Fun day that was.

Today was a crappy day to go to Fred Gingell Park because of the Rain! I will go Sunday during the summer to catch the Mayne Queen, and the Bowen Queen at Tsawwassen together.

Doesn't BC ferries do that sailing during the summer only on Sundays. Is BC ferries not doing that sailing in summer of 2013? While the Mayne Queen goes to Long Harbour than the other Southern Gulf Island then to Tsawwassen.
