My Dad now has a Mercury Sable Wagon which is miles better than the Micra, and it has 8 seats! So when our friends come from england to visit, we can all have a seat. Compared with the micra, it's like a limo heheh

I recommend buying a 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood with the fuel injected, 8.2 litre, 500 cubic inch V-8. Mine's never let me down ( except for a fuel pump failure). It's a gas pig, but who cares!

Does anyone live near Doug Dyer who made the model of Saltspring Queen?
If it is for sale, I would like that model, I have never seen the Saltspring or Vesuvius Queen, although I have seen the Mill bay, which I am planning to make a model of.
;D

I though this was about Ferries - and not Harry's old banger of a car - or lack of a car.
So where do Ferries go when they retire or die?
1. Scrap yard 2. Davy Jones Locker 3. Or a reef - somewhere in BC

We are talking about retired ferries and where they went, but we got caught up in this banger conversation somehow! ;D Anyway, anybody planning to make BCFerry R.C Models? I am, and soon I will make M.V Quinsam, M.V Mill bay and M.V Mayne Queen.

Harry - if you go back and check - we were talking about old ferries - and you brought on line the family car going over the Malahat and breaking down. Hence the talk about cars, or in your case lack of a good car. Speaking of Cars - you will note that BC doesn't have anything like our MOT requirement for cars - which is why you see alot of "old" bangers.
