We could change the list every year too.. I think this is a good idea. Should there be a few rules about the entries? What size should they be? How many per member? Should we put the name of the forum on the image or will someone do that later?

The images have to be 990x210, I can do the adjustments if they are a little bit too big to put in at one time and I can do croping. Text you would have to find out which font style?

That would work. Except I think some Ferries like the Queen of the North should Stay where they are

I only got 1 entry for this month's flagship which will be the Tachek. I will have it up ASAP.
Now for the August photo...
Find your best or favourite photo of the Queen of Victoria and send it to me via PM. The deadline is July 31st @ 11PM.

So in the next week find the best picture of the Tachek that you have and send it to me via PM. I'll accept nominations until July 12th at 11PM. I will then create a poll where we will decide the our picture of the month! Where can I find this poll?

I didn't do the poll this month because I only got 1 entry.

Right.
Hey, if you want some good photos of the Tachek, take a glance at Curtis' photos of her.

Looks more like the Coquitlam to me. But can I complain? She is by far the best "C" Class in the fleet. ;D

Hmm. The master of disguise. Underneath the massive hull is a 30 car boat that dates back to the late 60's. It also likes to appear in the form of a V class, too.

Pardon me Jordan, but what happened to the one entry you got for the MV Tachek that was scheduled to be set as the picture at the top? Was it lost into cyberspace? Or did it not meet your standards? I wait in anticipation for this photo to be put into place.
Cheers

lets see... I still haven't gotten around to re-sizing it due to the fact that I've been busy with stuff and general forgetfulness.

Aahh. So, you have two days to post it, there's pretty well no point now. Just resize the pic of the Victoria now, then you (and your staff buddies) will be able to get it up on the 1st.

Thank you Jim!
So, now it's time to prepare for September's "Forum Flagship." I am looking for good pictures of the Queen of Prince Rupert. Please send me either full size images or 990x210 size via PM by August 31st.

Perhaps one of Jims photos of the 'Rupert will be posted in September as well?

For October C class, I would say the Queen of Oak Bay cause her crew rescued two people in the Georgia Strait on the 23rd of that month in 2001.

Hmmm. Maybe. But The Staff will need to debate that one. We shall see....

The Oak Bay already has a spot in June. I think we should switch the October Choice to the Queen of Sidney since that was her launch month in 1959. and May should switch to C Class or the Queen of Surrey. Say could we maybe see what the leading pics are for the QPR.

Ha ha! Mine sucks! Again! I had a really good one, then I lost it. It's in my office somewhere, under some papers probably. Oh well, I trust the one entry limit, so screw that idea...

September 1st. I still see the Queen of Victoria. Man, the quality work of our full-time, paid global-moderator staff has really suffered in recent times. At our next AGM, we should consider a motion to better tie moderator-compensation to on-line performance issues such as this one. In a related story, the forum moderators' Unionisation vote will be held Sept.4th, Labour Day.
