Sea/Brem - 4:50am from Bremerton, 6:00am from Seattle Cancelled The 4:50am sailing from Bremerton and the 6:00am sailing from Seattle has been cancelled due to necessary repairs on the Kitsap. The next sailing from Bremerton will be at 6:20am, and the next sailing from Seattle will be 7:35am. Updates will occur as conditions change.
What is it this time?

Does anyone have a photo of an Issaquah class ferry with standing room only at Bremerton?

Does anyone have a photo of an Issaquah class ferry with standing room only at Bremerton? Why do you want that photo? During busy sailings, that's the result of an issaquah at Bremerton.

Is there ever a time that the 4:20pm sailing from Seattle to Bremerton isn't crowded? I'm looking at the Seattle terminal conditions (at 4:04pm) and there are only 39 spaces left. I will edit this once it fills up with the time.

The 16:40 and 17:30 sailings from Seattle on weekdays were always the busiest sailings for that route, and I daresay, the busiest for any route in the WSF system.

The Seattle-Bremerton, Seattle-Bainbridge, and Port Orchard-Bremerton routes star in my first Video Essay. Your feedback would be much appreciated.

Here's another video of the Seattle-Bremerton ferry route, showing the crossing from Bremerton to Seattle aboard the MV Chimacum. It also has some footage of SR 304 through Bremerton and SR 3 along the Sinclair Inlet. You can always skip to the 3 minute mark if you just want to see the ferry route and not any roads. Anyway, enjoy!

"Late Night Sailings Resume on Seattle/Bremerton Route Starting March 10 The Seattle/Bremerton route will have a pair of late night sailings added to its schedule starting on Thursday, March 10. The 11:40 p.m. sailing from Bremerton to Seattle and the 12:50 a.m. sailing from Seattle to Bremerton will be added back to the route’s schedule after being suspended at the beginning of the pandemic. Washington State Ferries will continue adding service where possible as crewing and vessel availability improves." (WSDOT @ 143PM 3/1)
Nice to see this kind of service addition be added. Will be interesting to follow this up with a hopeful return to 2-boat service on the Bremerton route later on this year. No further mention of ongoing Chimacum repairs, unfortunately. Route will continue with the Walla Walla until further notice.

Did a round-trip into Seattle on Kaleetan last Saturday. Here are a few pics of the Colman Dock construction. It's still torn up, but it looks like they are making some progress. the plaza area behind the waiting room terminal under construction

Why don’t they add a second boat like the kenwick Gotta have an operating crew, even if there is a ship available. Which we don't unfortunately. 2nd ship on the route *would* be the Chimacum, which is also still unavailable due to a reduction gear failure that's had her sidelined for nearly a year. Doesn't bode well for future Olympic-class ships, as the Tokitae experienced this issue as well.

Ok well use the tilkum or kenwick First off, I've never heard of any ferries named Tilkum or Kenwick. There is a ferry named Tillikum, as well as a Kennewick, but neither of them are currently in a position to operate as the B1 vessel. In fact, there are no ferries that can currently run the B1 position. There are no less than 90 vacancies system-wide that require people with highly specialized credentials to fill- they can't just do that on a whim. If they could, they would have done it 15 months ago.
