Bay and will be based at TSA to take over the Q of New West's duties. What is weird, that there is a V-class at SWB.

I checked on 2 differnt computers, my sisters and the one at the public library and I just re-checked the RBI The Coquitlam replaces the ALBERNI from Nov 19. There is no mention of the Queen of Surrey leaving its duties. The Scheduled ferry is the Queen of Surrey according to the RBI.

Karl, I would persume that the Vancouver will go for its refitt as soon as the Saanich resumes service. The reason I say this is that the Spirit ships are to go in refitt from Jan-March and when they come back, It will be time for Spring break and the Vancouver to resume its Friday and Sunday service as #2 out of Tsawwassen. Since the Esq is on the MIE this is the best time for her refitt as she will be needed to fill in for the Spirits.

The Queen of Saanich sure got the spiffy paint job. I guess that's a hint she's not going anywhere for a while. Is this just another "$10 tune up" or did they do any work below-decks this time? Even though the corp seems to talk out of one side of their mouths, their actions seem not to bear out what they are saying. I am sounding awfully cynical, but so far, experience has taught us that this is usually the case.

I'm pretty sure they did some stuff below decks, lubing inspecting, small important stuff that's required.

I sure hope it was more than just the regular "tune up" preventative maintenance routine. Heck, you check the oil and fluids at least once a week on your car, and are supposed to do a lube job quarterly! I should certainly hope that this was done during her recent "outting".

The Saanich Looks Beautiful In her New Paint. I hope it's more than just Paint. She is the potential vessel for possible Overnight Sailings.

according to the RBI the Queen of Coqutilam will be on the Langdale route from Dec. 3rd-7th if you look under Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. but for Langdale to Horseshoe Bay it says it is the Queen of Surrey
