I've just been passing this idea around in my mind lately, to see if this would actually work. Seeming I pretty much did the Circlepac trip over two days, I was thinking a group of us should get together and to this trip, in one day. I just thought this would be a good idea, because instead of taking one ferry in a day, we can travel 4 different of Ferries in a day. We would of course need a vehicle or two, to make this happen.
Here are 3 itineraries of how we could go about doing this trip.
This first schedule is a long day.
Starting with Route 3:
6:00am-Islanders meet up at Departure Bay
6:20am-Queen of Cowichan leaves Departure Bay
7:55pm-Arrive at Horseshoe Bay
9:00am-Mainlanders and Islanders all meet up at Horseshoe Bay
9:35am-Queen of Surrey leaves Horseshoe Bay
10:15am-arrive at Langdale, take time to get to Earls Cove
12:15pm-arrive at Earls Cove
12:50pm-Queen of Tsawwassen leaves Earls Cove
1:40pm-Queen of Tsawwassen arrives at Saltery Bay, make way to Powell River
2:20pm-Arrive in Powell River
5:15pm-Queen of Burnaby leaves Powell River
6:35pm-Arrive at Little River, High tail it to Departure Bay
8:00pm-Arrive in Nanaimo, Islanders and Mainlanders part
9:25pm-Mainlanders leave Departure Bay on Queen of Oak Bay
11:05pm-Arrive back in Horseshoe Bay
Starting with Route 2
6:00am-Mainlanders meet up at Horseshoe Bay
6:20am-Queen of Oak Bay departs Horseshoe Bay
8:00am-Arrive at Departure Bay, meet up with Islanders
9:40am-Arrive at Little River
10:10am-Queen of Burnaby leaves Little River
11:30am-Arrive at Powell River, briefly meet up with Powell River members
12:45pm-Leave Powell River for Saltery Bay
1:25pm-Arrive at Saltery Bay
2:05pm-Queen of Tsawwassen leaves Saltery Bay
2:55pm-Arrive at Earls Cove, head for Langdale
4:30pm-Arrive at Langdale
5:15pm-Queen of Surrey leaves Langdale
5:55pm-Arrive at Horseshoe Bay-Mainlanders and Islanders Part
6:40pm-Queen of Coquitlam leaves Horseshoe Bay for Nanaimo, depending which day it is
7:20-Queen of Oak Bay leaves Horseshoe Bay for Nanaimo
Starting with Route 2 (Islanders spend one night on Mainland)
9:45am-Mainlanders meet up at Horseshoe Bay
10:40am-Leave Horseshoe Bay on the Queen of Oak Bay
12:20pm-Arrive at Departure Bay, meet up with Islanders
2:15pm-Arrive at Little River
3:15pm-Queen of Burnaby departs Little River
4:35pm-Arrive in Powell River
5:30pm-Arrive at Saltery Bay
6:25pm-Queen of Tsawwassen departs Saltery Bay
